EV Charging in Boundary

Electric Road Trip

Explore the natural wonder of Boundary Country in comfort while travelling in an EV and recharge your own batteries as your car is being charged. Take your time enjoying our hospitality at shops and restaurants, stretch your legs and take a walk through town.

Our Visitor Centres in Christina Lake, Grand Forks and Greenwood have car chargers for your convenience. There are also public chargers available at Rock Creek, Midway and Beaverdell.

A Tesla electric vehicle wall charger is mounted on a wooden post outdoors, with trees and a building in the blurred background—an inspiring setup for those who believe in progress and the power of 7 affirmations to shape the future.

Public Charging Stations

Throughout the Boundary area, there are convenient car charging stations. Depending on the station, the service is free, charged by the hour or by donation.

A person holds a blue electric vehicle charging plug, connecting it to a white car’s charging port—powering up with purpose, much like 7 affirmations for positive energy. The person wears a green skirt and denim jacket; the background is out of focus.

While You Wait

While your car powers up, so can you! Grab a bite at a local eatery, then stretch your legs on nearby walking or hiking trails. From charming towns to scenic paths, there’s plenty to explore while you recharge.

Know Before You Go

Be aware of EV charging availability during peak times and plan routes in advance using verified charging apps rather than relying solely on in-car navigation. Always check DriveBC.ca for real-time road conditions to avoid seasonal closures and conditions. In winter, don’t push your range to the limit between chargers as cold temperatures can reduce EV battery range.
