Backcountry camping in Boundary Country requires good preparation as many areas are remote with limited services. Check BC Parks website for regulations, update yourself on forest fires and fire bans and be prepared for wildlife. There is reduced trail maintenance on sections of the Columbia & Western and Kettle Valley Rail Trail.
