Historical Adventures

Boundary Country is full of historical sites and stories waiting to be explored. Visit the Boundary Museum and Archives to learn about Doukhobor history in the region. The Railway

The Columbia & Western Railway played a significant role in connecting Boundary Country to the rest of British Columbia. This railway facilitated transportation of ore and timber, and contributed to the region’s economic growth. After decommissioning, the trails were repurposed for recreational use. Getting Here

Boundary Country is easily accessible following BC’s scenic Crowsnest Highway 3 and can also be accessed by Highway 33, two hours south, beginning in Kelowna. Entry points from Washington State are Highway 395 at Laurier-Cascade, Highway 21 at Carson-Danville and Customs Road at Midway-Ferry.
